Trout Sale 2024

We will be holding our annual Trout Sale on June 3, 2024 at the Hancock County Soil & Water Conservation District.

The fish are provided from Micmac Farms in Caribou, Maine. Prices remain the same as 2023 pricing.

Stocking permits from Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife in Augusta must be obtained before trout can be ordered. Permit applications are on the DIFW website. The permit fee is $10, and the person picking up the order must be named on the permit.

Things to Know:

Brook trout delivery date for Hancock County sales will be Monday, June 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the USDA Office in Ellsworth, Maine. The order deadline is May 26, 2024.

Cost is $3.50 per fish.

Fish will be provided in oxygenated plastic bags and boxed as in previous years’ sales.
