Equipment Loaner Program
The District loans out equipment to interested parties for conservation usage. We currently loan out the following, free of charge:
Two YSI Model 650 dissolved oxygen testers with 100 ft. cables for lake temperature/DO profiling, and reporting to Lake Stewards of Maine and DEP.
One extendable lopper for pruning browntail moth nests in the late winter-early spring, as well as for fruit tree pruning.
Two soil augers for soil profiling and testing.
In 2025, the DO meters were on loan to Silver Lake and Great Pond.
